This blog is about my home town. Sochi is a multicultural city with more than 450,000 inhabitants representing over 100 nationalities. It is Russia’s leading vacation resort welcoming almost three million tourists each year. Sochi is stretching about 148 km along Black Sea coast at the foot of the Caucasus Mountains, it has subtropical climate and has almost 300 days of sun a year. Also Sochi is applicant city for 2014 Olympic Winter Games :)

Brrrrrrrrrr is all I can say!
One of the things I miss being in Delta are large bodies of water. When we lived in Michigan, I loved to go to the beaches of Lake Michigan in the winter time to see the build up of ice. When we lived in Virginia, the Atlantic Ocean was only a few hours away. Alas, I will need to be content with the mountains and rivers of this area, and the mud of the Dobies, which are basically an ancient sea bed.
The bridge through the woods is wonderful!
maybe thats why its name is Black Sea:)

5 years ago we lived on the cost... about 20 metres from the water... it was fantastic... i think all those mountains and rivers of this area, and the mud of the Dobies very beautifull :)
I enjoyed both photos - the water is so powerful, I always appreciate its magnificent power - the bridge does look quaint in the photo within the trees - the area looks very relaxing.
