This blog is about my home town. Sochi is a multicultural city with more than 450,000 inhabitants representing over 100 nationalities. It is Russia’s leading vacation resort welcoming almost three million tourists each year. Sochi is stretching about 148 km along Black Sea coast at the foot of the Caucasus Mountains, it has subtropical climate and has almost 300 days of sun a year. Also Sochi is applicant city for 2014 Olympic Winter Games :)

Oh... how cute!! Is he your pet? I didn't know that urchin could be a pet... What do they eat and where do they sleep?
We have urchins as well - except that they are not land terrestrial creatures but rather ocean dwelling variety called Ina and Vana - the Ina is nonpoisonous and in some places eaten as a delicasy with short nonsharp spines and then there is the vana - poisonous with long sharp spines but amazingly beautiful with flourescent colors. You urchin is cute =)
How sweet! I thought it was an echidna.

I worked with a guy who had something like this as a pet, but he called it a Hedgehog. I wonder if they are the same thing....
