This blog is about my home town. Sochi is a multicultural city with more than 450,000 inhabitants representing over 100 nationalities. It is Russia’s leading vacation resort welcoming almost three million tourists each year. Sochi is stretching about 148 km along Black Sea coast at the foot of the Caucasus Mountains, it has subtropical climate and has almost 300 days of sun a year. Also Sochi is applicant city for 2014 Olympic Winter Games :)

this road must be dark at night to drive? It looks pretty curvy and narrow
I love these sorts of roads. I was out teaching my 18 year old son to drive a stick shift the other day, and I chose a winding road through the Dobies. My little Saturn Ion Quad is rather quick, so I had him get a bit aggressive with it. Watching him try to manage the hard cornering with one hand, while shifting with the other, and using both feet was rather humorous. I did feel like we were going to go off into the dirt every so often, and I was mentally calculating the cost of a new clutch, but better to learn there as opposed to a road like the one in your picture, and there are plenty of those around here too!

Street light is only on the roads in the city center... even between distreekts there are no street-lamps...

it's better to learn driving somewhere else, because this is a road as one on the picture with chapel... nobody will survive driving off this hill... i don't know for sure, but it must be about 100 metres from the road to the ground below...
