This blog is about my home town. Sochi is a multicultural city with more than 450,000 inhabitants representing over 100 nationalities. It is Russia’s leading vacation resort welcoming almost three million tourists each year. Sochi is stretching about 148 km along Black Sea coast at the foot of the Caucasus Mountains, it has subtropical climate and has almost 300 days of sun a year. Also Sochi is applicant city for 2014 Olympic Winter Games :)

wonderful photo..I expected something with a lot of snow from Russia nowdays..but you surprised me:)
Sochi is where my ancestors were expelled from in 1864. I haven't had an opportunity to visit there yet. However I miss that land I have never seen...
This is why those wonderful pictures mean different to me.

Sochi has subtropical climat... so we don't have a lot of snow... snow can be only in mountains for a couple of months or for a couple of weeks in the city.
