This blog is about my home town. Sochi is a multicultural city with more than 450,000 inhabitants representing over 100 nationalities. It is Russia’s leading vacation resort welcoming almost three million tourists each year. Sochi is stretching about 148 km along Black Sea coast at the foot of the Caucasus Mountains, it has subtropical climate and has almost 300 days of sun a year. Also Sochi is applicant city for 2014 Olympic Winter Games :)

Ann, I just came across your site, and I look forward to watching your posts. I have always thought it would be cool to visit Russia (I can't believe I just said that considering my post today), but that is not likely any time soon, so your site will be the next best thing!
Ann, are you by the sea or on a lake? Water always makes a Fall day seem wonderful.

Yes, it's warm here, at least now (it was +22c)

The city is beautiful and very green... it also a nice combination of high mountains and sea coast...
